TOP HAND STOCK - HANDLING SERIES

 

The SBA Top Hand Stock - Handling Series are two competitions allowing riders opportunities to compete in two events in the traditional Vaquero style of stock handling.  These events are 3-man doctoring and 2-man doctoring.  These are individual events with individual teams.  Each event consist of three go rounds.  All teams rope in the 1st two go rounds. The top 60% of the temas go to the third go round.  The third round will be scored on it's own.  The scores in the first two rounds will only be used in the event of a tie.  The top two teams will be paid a 60/40 split in prize money.  There will be two competitions in 2010.  The scores of the 1st two go rounds in each of the two Top Hand Series will be totaled for a year end overall winning team.

The first competition will be at the Diamond T3 Ranch in Conyers, Georgia on April 10th. The Second competition will be at the Best Bar None Ranch in Forsyth, GA on September 11th.

The entry fee for SBA members is $40.00 per entry per event that they compete in (non-members-$75.00).  Each rider also has a one time cattle/facility fee of $50.00 (EXAMPLE:  Rider 1 rides in 1 event - $40.00 & $50.00 = $90.00  Rider 2 rides in 2 events 2x$40.00 =$80.00 & $50.00 = $130.00).  TEAMS AND ENTRY FEES MUST BE SENT TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE COMPETIOTION DATE.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
